TradeShield protection for buyers

Eldorado TradeShield helps keep trades on our marketplace secure and reliable, and your orders protected in case of an issue.

We help safeguard the buying and selling process on our marketplace, so you can shop with confidence.

How TradeShield protects you as a buyer

Eldorado securely holds your payment until your order is completed, so you're covered from checkout all the way through delivery. Most of the orders are protected for 5 days. See the table below for exact protection times.

How it works

  1. You pay. Eldorado holds your payment.

  2. The seller delivers. The status changes to Delivered.

  3. You check your order. You have 3 days to make sure everything is as described, in-game or in the app. Then confirm the delivery, or raise a dispute on your order page. After 3 days, it’s marked as Received automatically, and the status changes to Received.

  4. Your order stays protected. Most orders are protected for 5 more days (see the table below). If something goes wrong, contact support via live chat during this period if help is needed.

  5. The seller gets paid. When protection ends, the status changes to Completed, and we release the payment.

How long is my order protected after it's marked as received?

TradeShield protection lasts for a set number of days after your order is marked as received. The length depends on the product type:

Product type

TradeShield duration

Gift cards (instant and non-instant)

4 days

Account category (instant and non-instant)

5 days

GTA5 accounts

14 days

Fortnite accounts

10 days

Rainbow Six Siege accounts

10 days

CS2 custom items

10 days

Roblox limiteds custom items

14 days

Roblox (Robux) currency category

7 day

Other categories not mentioned above (excluding automated delivery)

5 days

Offers with automated delivery are covered for 3 days or until they are marked as received. Make sure to always check in-game that everything was delivered as described. If there are issues, raise a dispute.

Keep in mind that the Boosting section Custom requests is only for account progression services (leveling up your current account). It mustn't be used to buy accounts, items, or currency. Misuse of this section means buyer protection does not apply to such orders.
