Eldorado.gg Transparency Notice on Ranking and Recommendations

1. Scope of the Notice

1.1. This Notice explains the main parameters used by Eldorado to rank and recommend information on the Platform, the reasons why certain parameters are given greater

importance than others, and the options available to users to influence the information displayed to them. It is provided for the purposes of Article 27 of the Digital Services

Act and forms part of the information provided under the Terms of Service.

1.2. Eldorado uses automated systems to rank and recommend certain information

displayed on the Platform. This Notice explains the main parameters used by those

systems, why certain parameters are given greater importance than others, and how

users can influence the information displayed to them.

1.3. Ranking and recommendation systems are used to:

1.3.1. determine which games are displayed as popular or trending;

1.3.2. determine the order in which Offers and Sellers are displayed on product

pages;

1.3.3. identify recommended Offers or Sellers; and

1.3.4. display recently viewed games or categories.

2. Ranking of the games

2.1. On the homepage, category pages and in relevant global search results, Eldorado may rank games based on their popularity and recent popularity trends.

2.2. The main parameters used for this ranking are:

2.2.1. the total gross merchandise value generated by a game (GMV), which is

used as an indicator of its current popularity; and

2.2.2. changes in GMV over time (GMV trend), which are used to identify games

that are increasing in popularity.

2.3. These parameters allow Eldorado to identify both popular and increasingly popular games. Game popularity rankings are updated once a week.

3. Ranking of Offers and Sellers

3.1. On product pages, Eldorado determines the order in which Offers and the Sellers

providing those Offers are displayed by assigning each Offer a score.

3.2. The score takes into account both the Seller's recent performance and characteristics of the individual Offer. The parameters used and their relative importance vary depending on the type of Item because different factors are relevant to a successful and timely transaction in different categories.

3.3. Depending on the relevant category, Seller performance parameters include:

3.3.1. the number of completed orders;

3.3.2. cancellation rate;

3.3.3. dispute rate;

3.3.4. warranty claims;

3.3.5. feedback score and the amount of feedback received; and

3.3.6. whether orders were delivered within the promised delivery time.

3.4. Depending on the relevant category, Offer-related parameters include:

3.4.1. price;

3.4.2. delivery time;

3.4.3. availability of automatic delivery; and

3.4.4. the informativeness and appropriate length of the Offer title.

3.5. Seller performance parameters are calculated using recent performance data, while Offer-related parameters reflect characteristics of the relevant Offer. The ranking score is recalculated regularly and may be updated approximately once per hour.

3.6. Where the number of completed orders is used as a ranking parameter, Eldorado

considers the number of orders rather than their monetary value. Higher-value orders

therefore do not receive additional weight in Seller or Offer ranking.

4. Relative importance of ranking parameters

4.1. The relative importance of the parameters described above depends on the relevant category.

4.2. For Accounts, completed orders are the most significant Seller performance factor.

Offer delivery time also has significant importance. Seller cancellation rate, dispute rate and warranty claims operate as negative quality signals. Seller reliability is given

greater importance in this category because Buyers generally have a more limited

ability to assess an Account before completing a transaction.

4.3. For Items, Seller performance as a group of parameters has greater importance. In particular, completed orders and Offer delivery time are significant parameters. Offers using automatic delivery may receive additional weight in relation to delivery.

4.4. Price does not affect the ranking of Offers in the Accounts or Items categories.

4.5. For Top-ups and Currency, characteristics of the Offer have greater importance than Seller performance. Price and delivery time are the most significant parameters. This is because these products are relatively standardised, meaning that price and the speed at which the product can be delivered are particularly relevant to the Buyer.

4.6. Gift Cards generally follow a similar ranking approach to Currency. Price is the principal ranking factor, while Seller quality indicators play a secondary role and help prevent lower-quality Sellers from being prioritised.

4.7. Eldorado also applies a diversity signal when ranking Offers. This helps maintain a variety of Sellers in the results and reduces the likelihood that Offers from a single

Seller occupy all of the highest positions.

5. Recommended Offers and Sellers

5.1. Where Eldorado displays a recommended Offer or Seller, the recommendation is

based on the same ranking methodology applicable to the relevant category.

5.2. The recommended position is assigned to the Offer that receives the highest overall

score under the applicable ranking methodology. Where a Seller is identified as

recommended, this reflects the score of the relevant Offer provided by that Seller.

5.3. Sellers cannot pay Eldorado to improve their position in the ranking or to obtain

recommended, promoted or featured status.

6. Personalisation

6.1. The ranking of Sellers and Offers is not personalised based on the individual Buyer.

6.2. In particular, Seller and Offer ranking does not use the Buyer's geographic location, device, language, previous purchases or browsing history.

6.3. The homepage may contain a Recently Viewed section. This section is personalised and displays games or categories that the user has recently viewed. It is updated automatically based on the user's own viewing activity.

6.4. The Recently Viewed section does not affect the ranking of Offers or Sellers.

7. How Users Can Influence Displayed Results

7.1. Where available, Users can apply filters to limit the Offers displayed to them.

Depending on the relevant category, available filters may include price, delivery time

and category-specific characteristics such as platform, rank, skins or similar attributes.

7.2. Filters determine which Offers are included in the displayed results but do not change the underlying ranking methodology. Offers that do not satisfy the selected filters are excluded, while the remaining Offers continue to be ordered using the same score described in this Notice.

7.3. Similarly, where a User searches Offers using a keyword, Offers that do not correspond to the search criteria are excluded from the results, while the remaining Offers continue to be ranked according to the applicable score.

7.4. Users cannot directly change the relative weight assigned to the individual parameters used to calculate the ranking score.
