Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a protection layer to withdrawals and purchases. Set it up in your account settings.
Quick answer
2FA codes are required for withdrawals and purchases, not for logging in
You need the Google Authenticator app on an iOS or Android device
If you lose access to the app, contact the Eldorado support team to reset your 2FA
Steps
Go to your account settings and scroll down to Security.
Click Set Up 2FA. A QR code appears on the screen.
Download Google Authenticator on your phone from the App Store or Google Play.
Open the app and select Set up account.
Select Scan a QR code.
Scan the QR code shown in your Eldorado account settings.
What happens next
2FA is now active on your account. When you make a withdrawal or complete a purchase, open Google Authenticator and enter the 6-digit code shown for Eldorado. Codes refresh every 30 seconds, so enter the current one.
Troubleshooting
You lost your phone or deleted the authenticator app?
If you no longer have access to the device or app you used for 2FA, contact us through live chat to reset it. For your security, we verify your identity first. You'll upload this through your profile:
A selfie of you holding a valid ID document and a piece of paper clearly showing today's date
Verification usually takes up to 20 minutes. Once it's approved, we turn off your old 2FA so you can set it up again on a new device.
Your 2FA code isn't accepted?
The code may have expired, or your phone's clock may be out of sync. Enter the newest code, and make sure your phone sets its time automatically.
You aren't asked for a 2FA code when logging in?
This is expected. 2FA codes are only required for withdrawals and purchases.
