Verification is a vital aspect of our website - it is here to protect both of our user groups - sellers and buyers.

Why Seller Verification Is Required

Verification helps us:

  • Protect buyers and sellers from fraud

  • Confirm that sellers are legitimate individuals or businesses

Identity verification is part of KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures, which ensures platforms to confirm the identity of users engaging in financial transactions.

How Seller Verification Works

Verification is completed through the biometric based verification system.

You will complete a secure automated verification flow.

Before starting verification - prepare your identity document

Make sure the document is:

  • Valid and not expired

  • Clearly visible

  • Fully within the frame

You will need to:

  • Select the type of document (passport, ID card, etc.)

  • Take a photo of the document

  • Take a photo of yourself

Step 1 - Start Verification

  1. Log in to your Eldorado account

  2. Navigate to -> Become a Seller

  3. Click Start Verification

Step 2 - Fill the form

Firstly you will have to fill a form to verify your identity and continue.

Step 3 - Verify our identity

Than you will be redirected to the verification page which will guide you through the process step by step.

And that's it! Your verification is submitted.

My verification has been closed, why?

If your verification was closed, don't worry - you are still able to make actions and purchases on our site. Closed verification means that it did not quite align with our seller policies. You can find more about our reasons below:

Reason

Meaning

User is not 18

Our platform requires users to be at least 18 years old to be able to sell, and this condition was not met.

Failure to complete the verification process

User has failed to finish all the necessary steps of the verification process. This could involve missing documents, incomplete forms, or failure to respond within the required time frame.

Verification does not meet our seller requirements

The submitted verification does not align with the platform’s requirements for sellers. This could include failing background checks, providing incorrect or insufficient documentation, or not meeting other specific criteria set for sellers.

Verification provided must be yours

The verification process was closed because the documents or information submitted do not belong to the user attempting verification.

Each of these reasons helps ensure the integrity of the platform by maintaining compliance with legal standards, preventing fraud, and ensuring that all users meet the required qualifications.

Resubmission required, why?

In some cases we can request to clarify the information or upload missing information as required. Our team will give you the reason of rejection, you will be able to see it in your verification page.

To successfully complete the verification, please resubmit it following the instructions provided by our team.
